How could I describe my work?
A difficult open question – multi faceted – even embarrassing…
What were my motivations? My search? What could represent these hairy naked figures?
First of all, I will not hide that, at the beginning, it was nothing but an introspection… an inner dialog … constantly renewed … a selfish creation… even egocentric. Creation from the shadows, based on secret… in my secret garden...
Before the year 2002/2002, I never had any artistic formation… Until today I have chosen to discover on my own the dream-like universe of painting.
Subjectively,
my paintings do not correspond to my temperament.
Rather
introverted and reserved, my self-mocking attitude surfaces… In a sense,
this
paradox seems to indicate a deep need for extroversion.
It
also indicates a manner to share my dreams, my obsessions, my disappointments
